Assistant Trainer / Rider

We are currently looking for a qualified individual to fill our professional rider / assistant trainer position.

The successful applicant will:

- be a qualifed rider, both English and western, Hunter / Jumper

and Trail - not perfect but proficient AND willing to learn

- be flexible, responsible, friendly, mature, professional in appearance, communication and performance at all times and be knowledgable in equestrian terminology, tack, equipment, breeds, behaviors, horses of all ages &

experience / training levels

- be at least 18 years old with no physical limitations

- be subject to a complete background check and periodic, random drug and alcohol testing (zero tolerance)

- pay is dependent on experience, ability and potential

- a riding interview is required

- a Liability Release Form, Non Compete Agreement, Confidentiality Agreement and Employment Contract is required

- hypothetical pay would be in the $8 - $10 /hr range with other incentives for longevity and outstanding performance

-  position is an 'AT WILL' contract position and can be cancelled at any time, with semi flexible days and hours. What is required is scheduling reliability and blocks of time so sufficient riding can be done per scheduled work period as needed
